Just a couple days ago we shared a recap of our long weekend in Amsterdam here. Since we don't have family close by to celebrate with for Easter weekend, we've gotten into the habit of using the long weekend to explore somewhere new. Last year we took off to Paris and this year's designation was the lovely Amsterdam. We enjoyed strolling along the canals, taking in all the beautiful architecture, eating lots of good food, finding a unique piece of art to bring home to remember the trip, and most importantly learning more about the history of the city as well as Anne Frank's story.
Amsterdam had so much to offer and we can't wait to enjoy some more time in there in just a few weeks when we pop in for a day during our Netherlands road trip! It wasn't initially on our agenda but we knew we needed to get back there even if its just for a short amount of time.
